I think I said this before, but as this is one of the first self-help books I’ve read I don’t feel all that confident about writing a competent review for this book, but I’ll try regardless.

I’ve heard a lot about ‘The Miracle Morning’ and was really looking forward to reading it, but I was pretty disappointed.
Let’s start with the actual content. ‘The Miracle Morning’ routine is good, really good actually. It’s what I’ve been doing for quite a while and it’s really working for me, and for almost everyone I’ve ever heard speak, be it on youtube, on a podcast, TED Talk or a blog.
And that’s the thing, as good as his routine is, it’s nothing new, everything he writes about is very widely known and used.
I only just started being interested in this field/genre and I didn’t get anything new out of this book.

What was worse though was his writing style. It’s very over the top, it’s pretty scattered and lacks cohesion.  He jumped around from one topic to the next and back again, talked about his shitty experiences and jumped around some more.

All in all I still gave this book 3 stars because his idea is very good, just not original or well written.
